Peach State says: Crafty Girl’s Night Out!

The Pintrest call went out to the ladies by email.

“Look what we found! Why don’t we get together and do this and have a Crafty Girl’s Night Out!

So we were reminded and were encouraged to buy the supplies and RSVP!
Stencils and paint provided! I bought a glue gun along with the Burlap and headed over to the host house. Newspaper lined tables were set up in two rooms along with bowls of brown paint and sponge brushes. Yarn was in individual little balls ready to made into Pom-poms.

Here is the result!!!

I love my new table runner! What do you think?

We had a good time of crafts and fellowship! Plans are already in the works for the next project!

Peach State says: Crafty Little Leaf!

So I was looking through a magazine the other day I saw this cute idea…

Crafty Little Leaf!

Here is the concept…

Collect some wonderful and colorful leaves ( or buy a bag of silk Fall leaves)

And a balloon ( blown up)

And some Modge Podge or a water glue mixture.

Apply the glue product to the leaves and place on the the large top of the balloon. Hint place the balloon in a large dish to hold the balloon stable.!

Arrange and place the leaves in an overlapping pattern around the balloon and when finished let dry,
Once dry, pop the balloon and remove it from the the Leaf Bowl.

The balloon will look similar to this…and the Leaf Bowl will look like this…

It was fun and I think I will do this again…I may even try the same type of project with some snowflakes foe Christmas.

Time for some NFL football!
