Peach State says: Not So Lucky St. Patrick’s Day
My “Precious Princess” is not feeling good…
I came in contact with some cats at the vet yesterday and I can’t breathe…
“Life is like a box of chocolates” and wouldn’t you know it just my luck the box is empty!
Not So Lucky St. Patrick’s Day,
“May your cup runneth over with joy, love and laughter oh, and really fabulous coffee!”

Peach State says: Don’t Ask Me…Read The Sign!
Signs sometimes say it all! The simple string of words molded together and placed in an eye-catching location…humorous, sarcastic and downright cut to the core wisdom. Yep! Signs say in a way we can’t.
If we were to say this people would look at us like we needed to be put away!
So I will giggle to myself as I read signs and remember the favorites. You never know when they may come in handy! I only have one more thing to say…
“May your cup runneth over with joy, love and laughter oh, and really fabulous coffee!”

Peach State says: Crafty Girl’s Night Out!
The Pintrest call went out to the ladies by email.
“Look what we found! Why don’t we get together and do this and have a Crafty Girl’s Night Out!
So we were reminded and were encouraged to buy the supplies and RSVP!
Stencils and paint provided! I bought a glue gun along with the Burlap and headed over to the host house. Newspaper lined tables were set up in two rooms along with bowls of brown paint and sponge brushes. Yarn was in individual little balls ready to made into Pom-poms.
Here is the result!!!
I love my new table runner! What do you think?
We had a good time of crafts and fellowship! Plans are already in the works for the next project!
“May your cup runneth over with joy, love and laughter oh, and really fabulous coffee!”

Peach State says: Please Stop The Hamster Wheel!
All day…Every day…GO, GO, GO!
Please Stop The Hamster Wheel…I want off or at least a nap!
I am off again this morning and will come home and feed the staving teenager before heading back out to a show, for my business, about 3:00!
My multi-tasking brain has not let me down yet…it is spewing smoke from time to time. “Probably sending up smoke signals for help or a tranquilizer shot!”
Time for a refill!
Now if I could just find the bathroom door on this wheel I would be great!
“May your cup runneth over with joy, love and laughter oh, and really fabulous coffee!”

Peach State says: Dear Mom and Dad!
The letters have finally started arriving in our mailbox! Letters from our 20 year old son in BASIC Training!
Dear Mom and Dad!
Nothing is more dear than reading a letter from your son saying he misses your cooking unless, of course, if the letter says:
“I miss you both and Love you very much…Thank You!”
Yes…there were tears in my eyes! Thankfully the tone of the letters have taken a turn for the better…yet he still complains about the food, lack of sleep and his boots. With the stories from his daddy and and accounts from a former Ranger he was more prepared than most recruits.
I found a Facebook site for the company he is in and they have posted updates and…(wait for it…) pictures! We have been fortunate to find 5 with our son in them and he is looking well! I am so proud of him and can’t wait to hear from him. “Hopefully this week will be the week!” As for the updates well they contained some fantastic news…he will have two back to back 12 hour passes Easter weekend so I guess you know where we will be! The hotel room is booked and my hubby has already gotten the day off…and I am counting the days! I will post about that visit…you can count on that!
I spend the better part of my mornings writing him of the daily activities and events all while trying to keep the tone positive! I have even kept him up-to-date about my “Precious Princess”. He has asked about her in every letter and misses her so much. “After all they did grow up together!”
His last letter gave us an insight into his writing style. A little here and a little there…the first part of the page was his typical letter then the next paragraph started by letting us know they had a mail call and he got our first letter. He admitted to shedding a few tears as he read the letter…our strong baby boy!
I will be heading out to mail our recent letter in just a few minutes. Please take a moment and remember the men and women serving in the military and those in training.
“May your cup runneth over with joy, love and laughter oh, and really fabulous coffee!”
