Peach State says: The Results Don’t Lie!

Maybe it was the fact that I was up way too late last night (1:00PM)…
Maybe it was the residual effects of the Benadryl Coma…
Maybe it was the chill felt through my fuzzy socks as I prepared hubby’s breakfast…

Whatever the cause, the first sip of my flavor filled Caffeinated Companion brought forth a calming and noticeable “Ahh!”!

The Results Don’t Lie!. Coffee is Awesome!

The knowledge that more coffee is coming my way just makes my toes tingle. Well not really…cause that could be a sign of too much coffee and that is not going to happen to me! HeHe! Whatever the reason for taking time out of your schedule to enjoy that first cup of morning’s slap in the face one thing is for sure…

“It was on the Internet so it must be true…Right?”

Speaking of results…I wanted to bring you up to date on my recent trip to the Pin Cushion Farm this past Tuesday! My doctor, after I reminded him (again) of the last Flu Shot, decided to forego the shot and added it to my file. But…because of my asthma he ordered the Pneumonia Shot instead and…the full gambit of blood tests. My favorite question of the visit was…”When did you last eat?” (11:00 am) “What did you eat?” I knew the look I was fixing to get and giggled as I told him…( A Dark Chocolate Special K Protein Drink and 2 individual Dark Dove pieces about 11:30.) if he had been wearing glasses he would have pulled them down on his nose and looked over the top with that evil eye! I was slightly panicked about the A1C results but was thrilled to find out that my A1C was in the normal range for non-diabetes…oh and the other tests were all good and normal. Yeah! I’m not pregnant! Isn’t that wonderful?

Well my phone is ringing and a friend needs to talk! I just wanted to share the above with you especially for those who had been sweetly asking about the results.

“May your cup runneth over with joy, love and laughter oh, and really fabulous coffee!”

About justbetweencousins

We are first cousins who live farther apart from each other than we would like. We thought this blog would give us a chance to visit with each other as well as maybe share a few insights about life. We are both middle aged and until recently both of us had kids the same age (nearly grown). But then the Peach State cuz adopted a son, so she has four now. Heart of Dixie cuz has two daughters. We have a couple of things which are prominently in common (although I'm sure there are actually more): We vacation at our Mema's beach house in Panama City Beach, Florida - until recently, we did so with all of our kids. We both sing - although Heart of Dixie cuz is not currently singing anywhere right now. We both write. We are both Christians, although Peach State cuz is Baptist, and Heart of Dixie is currently floating about between the Anglican church, the Methodist church, and the Episcopalian church. Long story.

  1. Glad to hear that your tests results were all good! I like your Breakfast of Champions meal! I too am taking Benedryl at night this week. My allergies are out of control. This morning we all (teenaged granddaughter visiting) slept in. Hubby usually sets up the coffee makers before going to bed through the week, but not always on weekends. He didn’t set them up last night. But not to worry! I started cooking bacon. Before it was all done, Hubby comes downstairs saying, “You sure know how to wake a man up, don’t you?” Ha,ha! He’s making coffee now!
So….the pregnancy test is negative. You know, if you had a younger sibling for your current youngest to torture, it would take some of the heat off of you! Hey…it’s just a suggestion…ha, ha! Here’s hoping your day is blessed!
