Peach State says: The Highway of Life
I left my house early this morning…deserted and quiet and still! Precious Princess had been placed up in hubby’s chair with her favorite blanket prior to our exit. My coffee cup, still partially filled, sat on the counter in solitude. “Boy did I miss my cup!”
I climbed behind the steering wheel as my two youngest sons took their places.
Prepared and ready to go we pulled out onto The Highway of Life.
We set out to do a few errands before heading about two hours south. This extended trip was to drop off my 20 year old with his grandparents, my parents, for about 10-12 days. “I only hope he can handle the busy “TO-DO” lists they have for him while he is there! …(insert sneaky chuckle)
I was fortunate enough to connect with “our mutual cat loving friend” on my way home…I was so sleepy so I called and talked with her to keep me focused. “Thank you!”
Tomorrow is the official walk-through to meet the teachers of my rising 7th grader. Won’t that be fun! After that we will do the grocery shopping, along with other normal errands…nothing out of the ordinary.
As for now…my feet are up and I am finally relaxing. I hope you are too!
“May your cup runneth over with joy, love and laughter oh, and really fabulous coffee!”
