Heart of Dixie says . . . Mirror, mirror on the wall . . .
. . . who’s the fairest of them all?
In the ladies room at work is this fabulous mirror. Something is wrong with it. It makes me look like the person I could be.
Of course there’s also a good mirror that tells the truth. But the magic mirror is the long one you see when you walk into the bathroom. You walk in and look like the size four you always wanted to be. Even your calves look good. You think. Heyyyyyy (read in Fonze’s voice)!
So, I was wondering. Do you like people who tell us the truth or the people who tell us what we want to hear? Is the mirror telling me what I want to hear or is it telling me that I have potential? I don’t know the answers, but I’m thinking about it.
