The pure orchestration of time management seen through the eyes of a child, when the family had gathered at Mema and Daddy Bill’s, holds a dear place in my heart. The concept that a second was as important as an hour and should not be wasted and misused. “The eggs will be ready in 2 minutes and 3 seconds” You have better be at the table and ready to eat. It was a well oiled machine moving through that kitchen and dinning room area with as many people as we had. Amazingly enough, we did flow together and knew when to move to the right or to the left while going through the doorway.
This Thanksgiving Jon asked me what time we would be eating and I quickly responded 1:00. He looked at his watch and, with and eyebrow raised, said “Alright”.
